Job Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Regional People Partnering, this role will serve as the onsite face of the People Team for our engineering and business colleagues based in Hungary. As the only on-site Regional People Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor, key point of contact, and the orchestrator of all People-related initiatives and processes to ensure the site receives effective, timely, and aligned People services.
You will convene and represent the One People Group locally, building key relationships across business and functional teams, crafting people strategies, and helping Hungary teams thrive.
Responsibilities:
Regional Business Partnering
- Being an on-site HR partner, aligning People programs with business goals at the Hungary location
- Orchestrate and coordinate local People processes
Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution
- Own the resolution of sensitive and sophisticated employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with Hungarian labor laws and internal policies
- Serve as a key liaison to the local Works Council, in close partnership with the Managing Director of Arm Hungary, fostering effective communication and collaboration with the employee representative organization.
Performance Management Support
- Guide managers in development planning and fair performance practices
- Coach leaders to strengthen their capabilities and handle challenges
- Support organizational change initiatives
Training and Development
- Identify skill and leadership development needs across local teams, with an emphasis on capability building for people managers
- Partner with L&D to localize global programs and deliver regionally relevant development initiatives
Additional responsibilities:
- Ensure People policies are applied fairly and consistently
- Oversee payroll and employee documentation process

Required Skills and Experience :
- Proven experience in a senior HR role, handling People topics independently.
- Strong understanding of Hungarian labor law and employee relations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organization.
- Skilled at building trust, coaching leaders, and offering practical HR advice.
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
- Experience supporting technical or engineering teams is a plus.
- Fluent in both Hungarian and English.
