Job Overview:

Based in our Bengaluru office on a 16x5 shift pattern with on call on a rota basis.

Focused initially on specialist Level 2 and Level 3 operational support and resolution of issues for our Licensing tools, evolving over time to form a DevOps structure, to support, design and develop and maintaining live services in a cross-disciplinary and geographically diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Providing L2 and L3 end user support
  • Support the full development cycle of Arm's applications, platforms and services in line with business requirements
  • Peer reviewing work to ensure high-quality standards
  • Maintaining service levels and performance
  • Continuous service improvement

Required skills and experience

  • Hold at least a B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with at least 3 years of overall experience in a similar role within a global organisation.
  • Track record of operational support, Incident, Request, Change, Knowledge and Problem Management aligned with ITIL.
  • Proficiency in Cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS and their standard practices
  • Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Java and Springboot
  • Single Page Applications (SPAs) using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js including state management
  • Experience with integration concepts such as ETL, APIs and Microservices
  • Tools that automate manual processes like Jenkins, Azure DevOps and Terraform
  • Databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Cosmos DB

Leadership & People Skills

  • Deep technical proficiency supporting and building custom software applications within a cloud platform.
  • You can work autonomously and follow a clear vision from the Technical Team Manager.
  • Actively participate and foster a positive team spirit and can-do attitude
  • Be comfortable to raise issues and concerns
  • Experienced working in a global, diverse, and multicultural environment
  • Experienced with development practices such as Waterfall, Agile!
