Job Description:
This position offers a meaningful opportunity to improve the engineering experience across our elite platform. In this role, you will coordinate technical deliveries, from requirements through planning, implementation, and successful deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and operation of scalable platform engineering services and infrastructure.
- Drive technical delivery across platform initiatives from requirements and architecture through implementation and production operation.
- Develop and maintain software supply chain and trust platform capabilities including artifact management, code signing, dependency governance, and workload identity services.
- Mentor engineers and provide hands-on technical leadership across platform engineering initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8-12 years of experience is required.
- Validated experience with cloud-native platforms and public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar tooling.
- Experience with developer platform tooling and SDLC systems including Git, CI/CD platforms, artifact repositories, and workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of software supply chain security concepts including artifact management, dependency governance, signing, or identity systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives while remaining hands-on and delivery-focused.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence engineering direction across teams.
“Nice to Have” Skills and Experience:
- Experience working within Platform Engineering or Developer Platform organisations focused on engineering productivity and platform enablement.
- Experience with identity, trust, or workload authentication technologies such as SPIFFE/SPIRE.
- Familiarity with software supply chain tooling such as Artifactory, Black Duck, Xray, or code signing systems!
- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and platform operations.
- Experience working within highly collaborative engineering environments with distributed teams!
