SAP-SD/MM-Procurement Functional Specialist
Job Description
This role will ensure systems and business processes are developed to meet requirements. Responsible for delivering system services, improvements and projects. This will require collaboration with other business functions and multi-functional IT members to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability. This role would signify the ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment with multiple customers.
Hold at least a B. Tech in computer science, IT, or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in a similar role within a large, global organization. A successful history of owning and delivering S/4 HANA solutions as a technical specialist in large-scale IT environments.
This role is based 100% in Bengaluru in India. Occasional international travel may be required and there is also a requirement for on-call.
Responsibilities:
- Work in SAP S/4HANA MM implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support, handling requirement gathering, design, configuration, and release.
- Know the latest industry trends, and bring experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing enterprise SaaS applications from concept to deployment and support.
- Configure core MM areas: Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing (PRs, POs, Contracts), Inventory Management, Valuation, Invoice Verification, Release Strategies, and Pricing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of SAP MM functionalities, including Material Valuation, Consumption-Based Planning, and MRP.
- Ensure seamless integration with FI/CO (Account Determination), SD (Sales & Distribution), PP (Production Planning) and WM (Warehouse Management).
- Analyze "as-is/to-be" processes, perform fit-gap analysis, and recommend improvements for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles.
- Conduct functional, integration, and UAT testing; develop training materials and provide end-user training.
- Support data migration using tools like LSMW, BAPIs, or Data Services for Master Data & Transactional Data.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly Fiori apps for procurement.
- Experience with data migration tools (LSMW, BDC).
- Experience in full project lifecycle, ASAP or Activate methodologies.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Certifications in MM SAP S/4 HANA
- Knowledge on Salesforce, ServiceNow and other web-based technologies!
- Experience of the semi-conductor industry or other Engineering based organizations!
