Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a team of IT professionals who will be designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP Sales, Sourcing and Procurement solutions. Role is pivotal in driving the strategic roadmap and operational performance of SAP Sales, Sourcing and Procurement initiatives and services. Maintain a balance between technical proficiency, team leadership and a good understanding of SAP Commercial products.
A strong combination of technical knowledge and experience leading a team in SAP technologies is needed. You will have at least a B.Tech in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with at least 8 years of overall IT experience of which a minimum of 5 years is in a leadership role recruiting, training, and leading successful SAP technical teams. You will have robust DevOps project management and delivery skills, with a verifiable history of delivering complex software projects.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Arm businesses to create, implement and lead SAP Sales, Sourcing and Procurement solutions, products, and services.
- Deliver SAP change initiatives.
- Hire & Lead a technical SAP team developing and supporting SAP products and services.
- Transform SAP products and services to stay lockstep with advances in technologies and changes to the business environment.
- Maintain and/or improve SAP products and services through continuous improvement using a best-practice approach.
Required Skills and Experience :
Deep technical knowledge of the following gained from prior experience in a SAP Sales role, in a SAP Fiori based landscape, including robust understanding of:
- SAP S/4 HANA Sales & Sourcing and Procurement as well as SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC). FIORI and S/4 HANA Analytics.
- SAP Entitlement Management System (EMS)
- Integration between S/4HANA and EMS using SAP Cloud Platform (CPI) and/or other Middleware.
- SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), SAP Global Trade system (GTS) and Ariba.
In addition, non-technical skills should include:
- Proficiency in delivering via DevOps (CI/CD), Waterfall and Agile practices and frameworks such as PRINCE2, Scrum or Kanban, including highly accurate estimation of development tasks.
- Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and the ability to implement processes that ensure the SAP team's outputs meet the Arm standards.
- Assessing team workloads, prioritising tasks, and allocating resources efficiently and effectively to maintain a balanced delivery schedule.
- Contribution to and monitoring of key performance indicators to evaluate the team's progress and productivity. Make informed and timely decisions, considering the team's input and potential impact on wider initiatives.
- Ability to set a clear vision for the team, outlining goals and expectations. Conveying ideas, expectations, and feedback, both in one-on-one and group settings.
- Understand team strengths and weaknesses and handle interpersonal dynamics with sensitivity. Delegate tasks, matching team members' skills and career aspirations with initiative priority and overall business needs.
- Foster professional growth of team members through regular mentoring, coaching, and feedback. Comfortable raising issues and concern, especially in understanding that saying "I don't know" is acceptable.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Certifications in SAP S/4 HANA!
- Knowledge on Salesforce, ServiceNow and other web-based technologies.
- Experience of the semi-conductor industry or other Engineering based organisations.
