Job Overview:

Based in our Bengaluru office on a 16x5 shift pattern with on call on a rota basis.

Focused initially on specialist end user support and resolution of issues with the platform evolving, as part of a dev ops structure, to support and develop, projects and maintaining live services.

The successful candidate will be implementing & integrating finance changes throughout the SAP estate, through all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Providing L2 and L3 support for SAP FICO, resolving end user issues, support debugging and implementation of changes and minor enhancements
  • Test and implement SAP Finance products and services.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Track record of operational support, Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management aligned with ITIL.
  • SAP FI modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
  • SAP CO modules including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Activity-Based Costing, Product Cost Controlling, and Profitability Analysis.
  • Good technical expertise in SAP FICO solutions, in a SAP Fiori based landscape, ensuring that systems are performant.
  • SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) functionalities, including revenue recognition, contract management, and revenue reporting.
  • SAP Group Reporting (GR) functionalities, including but not limited to group accounting and consolidation.
  • Supporting and resolving production finance issues within the SAP Estate.
  • Ability to handle the lifecycle of problems plus all related documentation and knowledge creation articles.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Good understanding of financial accounting principles, financial statements, and management accounting practices.
  • ServiceNow / JIRA as a backend user!
  • Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP FICO!
  • Experienced with development practices such as Waterfall, Agile.
  • Experienced working in a global, diverse and multicultural environment.
