To provide this we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Engineer Platform Access to lead the team in running and optimizing our ETX & Login platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in advanced solutions for desktop virtualization & remote access, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving technological advancements and strategic innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Engineer Platform Access team to ensure the efficient and optimal operation of our globally distributed hybrid-hosted cluster remote access service & environments.
  • Lead and coordinate the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimizations to continuously improve our OpenText Exceed TurboX - Remote Desktop Software systems and provide an outstanding colleague experience.
  • Working as part of the wider Enterprise IT function you will collaborate across infrastructure and engineering teams to ensure we deliver a world class engineering environment for Arm.
  • Automate all facets of our on-prem and cloud environments, embracing an automation first approach.
  • Develop and implement strategies for performance tuning and optimization.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of this platform.
  • Monitor system performance and make vital adjustments to ensure efficient performance.
  • Deliver training and support to colleagues to enhance system usage.
  • Stay up-to-date with the newest technologies and industry trends and drive innovation and adoption.
  • Document system configurations, updates, and procedures for reference and auditing purposes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in leading and maintaining an Exceed TurboX - Remote Desktop Software in a large scale Engineering environment, including Bare Metal, Virtualization, and Cloud hosted.
  • Solid understanding of HPC environments both on-premise and in cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities in a global team operating 24x7.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-functional global teams.
  • Influence, lead, and implement design and hosting improvements of scale remote desktop services.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Experience operating in a hybrid environment at scale in both Cloud and On-Prem.
  • DevOps or Development/Automation experience.
  • AIOps' experience!
