Job Overview:

Reporting to EUC & Identity Team Manager, this role leads End User Compute specialists to drive performance, focusing on technical excellence, end user experience, and high customer service. It leads all aspects of the delivery of End User Computing services within Arm.

Responsibilities:

Leading the EUC Technical Delivery Team to support Arm's core EUC platforms across Windows, Linux and MacOS/iOS.

  • Ensure alignment of EUC (MacOS) platforms with Arm's security policies and procedures.
  • Supervise the ongoing operation and management of EUC Platforms.
  • Collaborate with other internal technical teams to develop new EUC (MacOS) capabilities aligned with overall strategy.
  • Act as a technical point of escalation for Apple / JAMF technologies and devices to team and Service Desk.
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of all knowledge articles associated with the services delivered.
  • Supervise the delivery of EUC services and functions, ensuring proactive management of all tickets assigned within ServiceNow.
  • Be accountable for the technical delivery of problem management within the technical function.
  • Ensure the Apple/MacOS estate is run and deployed to meet our strategic focus on invisible streamlined IT.
  • Champion the adoption of the latest Apple technologies across the Arm ecosystem and ensure a consistent technical and functional offering across the entire Arm EUC service offering.
  • Adopt an automation / code-first approach to ensure the consistency and integrity of the Arm Apple platform.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A min of 4+ years' experience in defining, managing, and deploying Apple devices within an enterprise environment, preferably with JAMF Pro.
  • Experience working with Solution and Technical Architects to design an Apple deployment and management platform.
  • Experience in automation and employing an Infrastructure as Code approach to maintaining a dynamic Apple estate.
  • Possession of JAMF 200 Certification.
  • Experience in configuring and integrating Apple Business Manager (ABM) with JAMF or other MDM solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with third-party engineering support teams (Apple, JAMF, various security vendors).
  • Proficient in handling JAMF Pro server policies and configuration profiles.
  • Familiarity with tools used for deconstructing and rebuilding installer packages.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Bash or Python.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to improve team members and the end-user community.

  • Knowledge on Microsoft Intune and Azure.
  • Knowledge on networks.
  • Log Analysis!
