Job Overview:
Based in our Bangalore office on a 16x5 shift pattern with on call on a rota basis.
Focused initially on end user support and resolution of issues with Business Intelligence applications.
Problem solving with respect to user issues involving BI applications, Certificate Management and upgrade / patch management. Monitoring and application configuration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 and L3 support for BI applications.
- Certificate management.
- Configuration management and monitoring.
Required Skills and Experience:
- With at least a B.Tech or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least 2 years of overall experience in a similar role within a global organisation of which a minimum of 1 year in Business Intelligence.
- Administration and configuration for BI tools (PowerBI and Tableau), including user access, security, and performance tuning.
- Track record of operational support, Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management aligned with ITIL.
- Experience with Power BI Gateways and Tableau Bridge.
- Familiar with SSO and SSL protocols and implementation.
- Familiar with programming languages like SQL, TSM, Python for scripting and task automation.
- Monitoring / logging systems to track system performance, data loads, user activity and log interpretation.
- Backup and recovery procedures to ensure data continuity in case of system failures or disasters.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Write scripts and automate routine tasks, such as data loading, report generation, and system maintenance; Data integration platforms like MuleSoft, BO Data Services to facilitate data movement between systems; Data security standard practices, including encryption, access control, and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Optional certifications: Microsoft! Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate; Microsoft! Certified Data Analyst Associate; AWS Certified Data Analytics.
- Experience with Tableau Content Manager, MS SQL Server, Azure, AWS & Databricks
