We are seeking an experienced technical leader to head our Kubernetes Platform Services team. This team is responsible for building and operating scalable, secure, and automated Kubernetes infrastructure across data centers and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP). The ideal candidate will lead efforts to empower developers and engineers with self-service capabilities for deploying validated, reliable Kubernetes clusters, accelerating innovation and operational efficiency across the organization.
Job Overview:
The Senior Manager of Kubernetes Services will lead a team of infrastructure engineers responsible for delivering robust, automated Kubernetes platform services. This role is accountable for the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable solutions that empower hardware and software engineering teams with reliable container orchestration capabilities across on-prem and cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Kubernetes Services team. Develop and implement strategies for efficient Kubernetes cluster deployment. Ensure the team meets performance and service delivery targets.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters. Ensure seamless integration with data centers (physical and virtual infrastructures) and public cloud (AWS, GCP, and Azure) platforms. Maintain high availability and scalability of Kubernetes services.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with developers and engineers to understand their requirements. Provide technical mentorship and support for Kubernetes-related issues. Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with other departments.
- Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Kubernetes and cloud technologies. Drive continuous improvement in Kubernetes deployment processes. Implement standard processes for security, monitoring, and maintenance of clusters.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Kubernetes infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Drive career growth through regular feedback, coaching, and development planning, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and engineering excellence.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes ecosystem (SUSE Rancher, Isovalent Cilium, ArgoCD, Fleet, Prometheus, etc.), Virtualization (VMware, Harvester, OpenStack etc.), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Containerization technologies.
- Experience in deploying and supporting distributed systems on Kubernetes.
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and platform engineering practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in infrastructure provisioning and configuration and API automation.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Experience working in semiconductor industry and related technologies.
- Relevant technical specialization or architecture level certifications in the Kubernetes and cloud platforms and infrastructure technologies.
- Expertise leading agile software teams or working with agile software development techniques.

Salary Range:
