Job Overview:

Solution Engineering is seeking an experienced Sr. Director, Technical Program Manager to manage delivery of Arm’s most advanced designs for Arm’s SOC partners!

In this critical role, you'll be the driving force behind the technical program for partners’ SOC development. You'll leverage your expertise in both program management and SOC design principles to lead a multi-functional team. Your leadership will ensure partner’s successful delivery of high-performance SoCs, on time and within budget!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical tradeoffs for program success. Drive technical alignment between internal team and partner’s architecture, front-end design, physical design, packaging, software, silicon validation, test, product engineering, quality, and post-silicon operations.
  • Manage timely resolution of the change requests (features, quality, design efficiency)
  • Be a program point of contact on all matters related to the program both internally and externally. Communicates Program status, issues, risk management and recommended mitigation plans to multi-functional and executive teams.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s and above degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum 20 year experience in technical management of large complex SOC / subsystem design from concept to production. Experts in fields such as power / performance use cases, system modeling, chip design & test, PPA tradeoffs, foundry process technology, package design, post silicon bring up.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOC design principles, methodologies and tool flows.
  • Extensive experience in post silicon qualification, foundry process, device performance, yield distractors, product test, and system level integration are required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and business insight. C-level executive communication experience is a must.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • Strong SOC design experience as a chip lead.
  • Experience in technical management of a portfolio of SOCs in multiple market segments is a plus (Mobile, Compute, Automotive and PC)
  • Transformative skills. Ability to articulate vision and influence decision making and outcomes across Arm organizations and external suppliers, partners, and customers.
