Job Overview:

As Senior Director of Engineering for Partner Enablement, you will lead a distributed team of over 250 application engineers, providing partner support and training for ARM’s hardware and software products. You will also be a member of the Partner Enablement Leadership Team, collaborating closely with many internal and external stakeholders!

Arm's Application Engineers are a team of highly technical authorities offering worldwide support through various approaches including extensive self-service offerings, ticket-based support, design reviews, and deeper lead partner engagements. They also deliver Arm product training via in-person sessions, remote video, or recorded content in Arm’s training portal. The engineering team is spread across global offices with main hubs in Cambridge, Austin, and Shanghai.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the potential to make a strong contribution to the PEG Leadership and Management Team, and will be able to show they can build and lead a best-in-class engineering support organisation. You will be customer focused and have the ability to form strong networks both internally and externally enabling you to complete and deliver your plans and commitments! You will have experience of leading enterprise-level change to widen the support organisation’s capabilities whilst maintaining operational and technical excellence.

This role involves working across different time zones and international travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop Arm's Application Engineering team
  • Ensure high-quality customer support and training
  • Align PE Engineering’s capabilities with ARM’s product roadmaps
  • Gather feedback from ARM partners on products and services
  • Report on engineering performance, customer activity, and support trends
  • Provide customer feedback to influence ARM product features and improvements
  • Build and communicate a clear strategy and execution plan
  • Influence across the organisation, especially within engineering
  • Work closely with lines of business and engineering groups to align with Arm‘s goals and market needs.

Salary Range:

$369,800-$500,300 per year
