About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with strong expertise in vendor management, workforce optimization, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing contractor operations, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and smooth integration with internal teams. This role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to streamline operations through automation and governance!

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize day-to-day contractor operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and project timelines.
  • Conduct workforce planning, headcount analysis, and resource allocation to balance project demands.
  • Introduce and maintain governance frameworks to standardize estimation, reporting, and contractor engagement processes.
  • Drive efficiency by implementing automation tools for tracking, reporting, and contractor performance management.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver regular insights to leadership on cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with HR, procurement, finance, and engineering teams to ensure seamless contractor onboarding, utilization, and offboarding.
  • Partner with technical and program teams to anticipate workforce needs and align contractors accordingly.
  • Identify risks related to vendor inefficiencies, compliance gaps, and contract execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, program management, or workforce management, with significant exposure to contractor/vendor oversight.
  • Proven track record of cost savings, process optimization, and workforce planning.
  • Strong skills in automation tools, data analytics, and dashboards (e.g., Python, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of governance frameworks and lean management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across global, cross-functional teams.

Salary Range:

$206,600-$279,500 per year
